FOR RELEASE February, 1998
Contact: Jennifer Burnstein, IQ Program Coordinator
On February 6, 1998, the number of companies designated as Installation Quality (IQ) Certified by the IQ Certification Board reached 21.
The voluntary IQ Certification program gives alarm companies that meet the IQ Certification requirements a way to show their customers and prospects that they are proactively addressing quality and false alarm reduction issues. The latest companies that have earned the IQ Certification mark are C.O.P.S. Monitoring, Cen-Signal, Zeplin Security Group, Franklin Alarm, and Wiregrass Security. Each of these companies have met the rigorous standards for ethics, employee training, customer service, system design, equipment, installation and monitoring set by the independent IQ Certification Board.
