Dear Electronic Security and Life Safety Professional:
Thank you for your interest in the IQ Certification Program. As you know, many in our industry claim to be concerned about quality and false alarm resistance. IQ is your opportunity to prove it!
IQ certification is granted to companies that strictly adhere to the IQ Certification Policies and Guidelines. Each of these policies and guidelines have been crafted to assure that a company is taking all known steps to ensure that they are installing quality and false alarm resistant alarm systems.
Please note that in order to become certified your company will need to designate an IQ Compliance Officer who will then need to gather certain materials, some of which must be sent to the IQ Board along with your application and others which must be kept on file at your company by the IQ Compliance Officer. Also, be sure to keep a copy of everything you send to the Certification Board in your files.
If your company’s application is approved, you will receive an IQ Certified Company Certificate along with an IQ order form to purchase promotional materials.
